Important Question, part 2

Tell me your dream writing job in the comments.

And for your next post, I want to know about what you've learned about feature writing so far, and if you've had any surprises!

  1. If I could have any job, I'd love to be a sports writer for the Boston Globe. I love the city of Boston, and their sports have the greatest fan base I have ever seen. If I could earn the respect of the diehard fans, it would be a great testament to how far I've come in the journalism world.

  2. My dream writing job would be to write for a huge fashion magazine, like Harper's Bazaar. I have been in love with the idea of a fashion magazine since I watched "Devil Wears Prada." Or a Style/Wedding feature writer like on "27 Dresses." Lol I watch a LOT of movies!

  3. I am completely a nerd, no question about it. My dream writing job would be writing medical journals for the CDC in Atlanta. I find there research and studies amazing beyond belief and I am so intrigued by there work. It would encompass my two loves; medicine and writing.

  4. I must say I'm a nerd like Kaitlyn, too! My dream writing job is similar, but it would be medical journals for a psychiatric hospital. I really want to do something in the lines of clinical psychology so that job would be amazing.

  5. My dream job would be writing for a magazine as well. I would love to travel for my job as well, so writing about where I travel and what I eat and do would be awesome

  6. Wow, I have to say my dream job would be to write for a well respected magazine or other publication like Vogue, People, or The New Yorker. I want to write fashion articles or articles about social issues. I would want to write for a major magazine like these because I want to have to the ability to reach as many people as possible with my writing. :)

  7. As a writer my dream job would be to have my own virtual newspaper/blog thing like the Huffington Post. I really enjoy reading the Huffington Post, but I would love to have my own version because I rarely agree with what Ms. Huffington and the rest of the writers have to say. I think it would be very interesting because a newspaper like that encompasses style and celebrity news, two of my favorite things to read about.

  8. The New Yorker is my favorite mag. so I'd love to write for them. But that probably doesn't pay a lot, so I'm currently trying to find something to do on the side as well...like maybe architectural design...
